Strength and stability

Check out our new classes below which have been added to your member area.

5th March: Alignment and balance (available now)

Using the concept of trying to feel as we are using the ground to lift up out of rather than sinking.  Spreading the toes and lifting the inner arches we rise up.

6th March: Abdominals (available now)

Continuing the theme of rising up, we engage the abdominals while keeping light in the centre of the body.

7th March: Hips (available from 5am 7/3/23)

Moving our hips in different dimensions we increase the strength and mobility. Finally, we stretch the hips.

8th March: Back & glutes (available from 5am 8/3/23)

Stretching and strengthening our spine leads to stability in our entire body. Take time with the back of your body and your whole body will thank you.

9th March: Spinal & shoulders (available from 5am 9/3/23)

First we strengthen the shoulders then we stretch them.  In between we lengthen and stretch the spine.

10th March: Twists (available from 5am 10/3/23)

First we twist the upper body and then the lower body. Twists are energising and promote a healthy spine, so let’s get moving!

11th March: Flexibility (available from 5am 11/3/23)

We start standing, gradually making our way to the ground. Take time to enjoy the movement, releasing the muscles, try to relax.

AA#2: Active ageing - Balance

Improve your balance with Christine’s 2nd class in her ‘Active Ageing’ series. This session will help you build strength and stability by practicing easy to follow exercises, that can be progressed as your balance improves.
