Introducing the Pilates principles: Control B#54 (4/6)
Gillian introduces the principle of control in this class. Control in Pilates explains how control of every muscle in our bodies is crucial to the Pilates method. No body-part is left to it’s own devices but we try to be acutely aware of the position and tension, not just in the body part we are trying to use but in all other areas of our body.
Back health #29
Give your back the opportunity to stretch and mobilise to ease discomforts. Follow Giuseppe’s session to learn movements that will often help your back pain go away over a short time.
