All levels #82: 12 days of Christmas (available now)

A fun, varied class with 12 exercises which are repeated. For example; on the first day of Christmas my Pilates teacher gave to me a 10 second plank. On the second day of Christmas my Pilates teacher gave to me 2 spine stretches and a 10 second plank…..and so on.

24th December: Alignment and balance (available now)

Anna takes you through this all mat based session, where we work on alignment and balance, control coming from the centre. However, to give us a fresh challenge we balance ‘sideways’. Have a go… you’ll love it.

25th December: Everyone's Christmas session (available now)

A session for everyone. This is done sitting down from start to ‘almost’ finish. With everyone involved there can be no excuses. Mobilise the spine, ankles and shoulders. Little work for the waist and legs. All ‘wrapped up’ (see what we did there) with a balance challenge.

26th December: Relax and recharge (available from 5am 26/12/23)

Relax and recharge after a busy time moving the body gently to lengthen out the aches and pains. This will leave you feeling calm enough to face the family for another day!

27th December: Back & glutes (available from 5am 27/12/23)

Starting lying on or back, we work and lengthen the back, while a quick flip over onto our front introduces the work for the glutes and the extensor muscles of the back.

28th December: Spinal & shoulders (available from 5am 28/12/23)

From a kneeling start (have a cushion ready if your knees are uncomfortable) we mobilise the spine and shoulders. This alleviates those aches and pains that can come from sitting down too long.

29th December: Twists (available from 5am 29/12/23)

Starting from sitting we twist through multiple planes using our oblique muscles to move our torso, arms and legs.

30th December: Flexibility (available from 5am 30/12/23)

Hamstring stretches, ankle and hip mobility. Dynamic and static moves. This will give you a lovely stretch.
